Today’s message
There is a part of our life that no one sees. You talk, work, fulfill roles; inside, you carry weights that the best bed cannot resolve. Paul knew this invisible place. Imprisoned, he does not pray for external doors; he prays from within. And he taught me to ask the right way: Lord, strengthen me in the inner man. Because when the inner self is strong, the outer can withstand the blows. When the inner self is fragile, the person who enters a room smiling may leave without the strength to continue.
Ephesians 3 hits me hard: according to the riches of Christ's glory, the Spirit strengthens us in the inner man. It is His work in us, not our own. The seraphim declare: Holy, holy, holy; the whole earth is full of His glory. From this excess of glory, God pours strength within. Therefore, I do not start by asking for relief; I start by asking for roots. Christ dwell through faith; let me take root before growing upward. Root in the rock secures foundation in any wind.
Three areas where the inner man needs to be strengthened
- Strengthen faith: Christ dwell in the heart; root before raising, like a stake that finds the rock.
- Strengthen the heart: do not let pain turn into bitterness; recover hope that only God gives.
- Strengthen the will: God works in us to will and to do; listen and obey like Ananias, and go.
There is a part of our life that no one sees.
Notice the order: faith that hosts Christ, heart that does not harden, will that obeys. When Jesus raised Jairus, He first lifted faith. When hope seems little, I remember: in a single night God turned Joseph's story around. I do not romanticize pain; I bring it to God so it does not take root wrongly. Where there is ash, He breathes life. Where there is paralysis, He ignites desire and path.
How to practice now
- Place your hand on your chest and pray: Lord, strengthen my faith; dwell deeper.
- Present your heart: Search me, heal disappointments, uproot the root of bitterness.
- Read the Word aloud; feed hope until it speaks louder.
- Ask for discernment and obey immediately; the strengthened will moves, like Ananias.
I believe in what Paul declared: God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. So today, I ask from the center to the edges: Holy Spirit, strengthen my faith, guard my heart, revive my will. And I walk. This is not your end. Your story, in Christ, is not over. Where no one sees, God has already begun to strengthen you.
