I look at the man with the withered hand and see a mirror of our weariness: the ability is there, but life has atrophied. Have you ever felt this? You breathe, work, but inside you have lost the strength to dream, to create, to serve. God called you to flourish. Not to survive. And I am not just talking about money; I am talking about holy influence in marriage, family, and work. The hand in the Bible represents doing, it is responsibility. A withered hand in the text is a figure of a paralyzed life. I want to help you get out of this place.
In the account, Jesus pulls the hidden from the depths to the center and commands him to stretch out his hand. Before restoring, He repositions. Before healing, He involves the person in the process. You can live with pain, that’s okay. The pain of mourning, rejection. What you cannot do is be carried by that pain. Pain insists upon being attended to. Write your story in a notebook, seek help, bring that pain to light — otherwise, it atrophies everything.
Get up, come to the middle and stretch out your hand.

Jesus does not go after the guilty, He goes after the wounded. Before restoration comes positioning. Enough of spiritual anonymity. Come to the middle. Get up, come to the middle and stretch out your hand.
Productive hands do
- Act with excellence and constancy, even in the small.
- Lift up the fallen and create opportunities for those who do not have them.
- Multiply talents, seek knowledge, and transform people.
- Serve the kingdom of God with what you have and who you are.
I believe that God chooses to work through our hands. 'Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.' Ask Him: what is my participation? Maybe it’s asking for forgiveness, resuming the course, sending the resume, scheduling therapy, returning to the secret place. Stretch out your hand. The miracle of Luke 6 is a trumpet in our existence. Get up today. Come to the center. Participate. And return to producing for the glory of God.
