There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

Today’s message
I grew up in a noisy house of siblings and dreams. I learned early that home peace does not fall from the sky like summer rain. It springs from the words we choose. The Bible states that there are many voices and none is without meaning. So, what I speak at home carries weight. It brings lightness or tension. It blesses or poisons. God has already placed in us grace, wisdom, and tools to improve the family. I believe this and invite you to believe too: if it depends on us, our home will change, and it starts with our voice.
Open Proverbs with me and see how concrete Scripture is. A soft answer turns away wrath. A gentle tongue is a tree of life. The patient calms the discussion. It is not theory; it is daily practice at the table, in the hallway, in the room. Anger comes, I do not deny it. But it has a short peak; if I govern the first seconds, the bomb loses power. And governing starts before, with language decisions. I decide which voice I let reign in my house: the one that heals or the one that hurts.
four expressions that will improve your family
- I love you — love needs to be said; prolonged silence dries the heart.
- I’m sorry — forgiveness opens a new beginning; don’t push with a generic 'sorry.'
- Thank you very much — daily gratitude acknowledges effort and multiplies good.
- Let’s pray — take the family to God; intercede for your spouse and children.
As far as it depends on me, my family will improve.
About anger, I learned to breathe. Science describes a short explosive peak; the first seconds are critical. When the pressure rises, I stop, count internally, and hold back the phrase that would turn into shrapnel. It works. And I want to insist on something: everything is learnable; only the desire depends on you. You can train a soft response, ask for forgiveness, give thanks, pray. But you need to want to change. God has already given you weapons. Use them at home.
Proverbs 15 at home
- Respond with gentleness to divert unnecessary explosions.
- Cultivate a gentle tongue; soft words sustain life in the environment.
- Practice patience; it dissolves discussions before they grow.
I conclude with a simple and firm call: return to the first love in words. Say love, ask for forgiveness, give thanks, pray. Jesus gave thanks before multiplying loaves; gratitude releases provision. Isaac prayed for Rebekah until sterility yielded; persevering prayer transforms stories. So, do your part and say with me: as far as it depends on me, my family will improve. And today, adjust your voice. The whole house feels when our tongue chooses life.
