The preacher pulls the handbrake: anointing without purpose turns into vanity. We applaud charisma, but heaven seeks channels. He insists: manifestation does not validate character; God uses, but wants you. The anointing is not a show, it is a bridge — where skeptics discuss theology, they do not discuss aligned columns or tumors expelled. Five loaves and two fish tell this story: the little, given, becomes a feast. The central thread is simple and firm: the anointing you carry is greater than the pressure trying to dry you up, as long as it flows through you towards someone.
We return to Jesse's house. Samuel asks, 'Are all the young men here?' and hears about the youngest, in the field. God commands to bring him. The oil flows, the Spirit takes David — and, marked, he returns to the pasture. This is the key of the sermon: being anointed does not mean being ready, it means being marked. The smell changes: now it is the smell of sheep, of belonging. The anointing locates you to serve, it does not exempt you from process. It is a seal that calls for responsibility and, at the same time, a door that opens the supernatural when the earth says: there is none, it is impossible.

And, regarding accumulated shame, he declares restoration: 'Instead of your shame, you shall have double honor' (Isaiah 61:7). The point is not to escape pressure, but to discover grace in it. The little in the right hands grows. The wounded who overcame gains authority that cannot be bought.

Straightforward and practical application: do not silence the gift — preach, care, prophesy, plant, lay hands. Present the Kingdom, do not just talk about it. When the uprising comes, remember: Goliath had a sword, height, experience, and armor, but David had oil. Sleep in the storm, for the one who governs can rest in the midst of it. Hand over the governance of your life to the Father and say yes to the purpose: the anointing that marked you is not a trophy; it is service, healing, liberation, and activation wherever you are sent.
