Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Today’s message
Today I want to talk about weariness that doesn't show up in a medical exam. I've experienced both: exhaustion of the body and heaviness in the soul. I worked night and day, almost two days without sleep, and blacked out while driving. But I also faced that silent discouragement when the suspicion of illness shakes the head and heart. It's at this point that the mind gets tired of praying, the soul wants to hide, and everything seems bigger than it is. Don't pretend to be strong. Acknowledge the battle. If the fight is within, God also enters there and renews from the inside out.
Isaiah reminds us: God does not get tired, and He gives strength to the weary. The route is to wait on Him, not for immediate relief. Jesus called: Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The main recipe is closeness to Christ. And I know that time tests us. Hope deferred makes the heart sick. When the answer delays, don't conclude that God has forgotten you; anchor yourself in His character. Waiting on the Lord is not passivity; it is faith in motion, step by step, under the voice of the Father.
Things to Renew My Strength
- The first thing: discern the weariness of the soul and spiritual battles beyond the body.
- The second thing: watch over hope; delay wears you down but does not define the end.
- The third thing: God does not always take away the battle; He strengthens you for the next level.
- The fourth thing: faith changes our reaction — like Paul and Silas, praise in the midst of prison.
The eagle does not defeat the wind; it learns to use it.
I look at David in Ziklag: everything seemed lost, but he strengthened himself in the Lord and sought direction. Paul and Silas, wounded and imprisoned, chose to sing. The eagle does not defeat the wind; it learns to use it to rise. That's what I'm talking about. Faith does not deny the wind, but adjusts the wings. When the mind is weary, don't wait for rock bottom to ask for help. Seek today. Renewal comes when we surrender to the God who sustains, guides, and restarts stories.
Practical Steps to Seek Renewal
- Come to Jesus with everything that weighs you down; pray truthfully, without pretty phrases.
- Ask for help: seek prayer, share the struggle, don't walk alone.
- Humble yourself before God and wait for direction before reacting impulsively.
- Maintain worship in the midst of trial; praise is a response of faith, not euphoria.
- Be the first to pray at home; start today to change your environment.
I want to encourage you to rise up from within. Perhaps the struggle continues, but you won't remain the same. God strengthens the weary and gives vigor to those who have none. Adjust your wings: wait on the Lord, do what is yours to do, and keep the flame of worship alive. When the wind tightens, use it to rise. I believe: there will be renewal, direction, and a new step on your path.
