But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Today’s message
God loves to start where no one expects. I look at the disciples and see myself in them: ordinary people, courage wavering, hearts wounded here and there. They walked with Jesus, saw miracles, but still stumbled. Then came Easter, the resurrection, and forty days of undeniable proofs. Jesus did not call them to run, but to stay. And, at the right time, He breathed power. This is what I mean when I say time of acceleration: it is not a shortcut, it is obedience that unlocks the step. It is not haste, it is presence. Acceleration comes to those who stay until they receive.
Put Acts 1 on the table. The resurrected Jesus looks into their eyes and promises: in a few days, the baptism in the Spirit. The order is simple and hard: stay in Jerusalem. No countdown, no measuring tape on the miracle. Stay. When Pentecost came, it was not performance, it was an invasion from above. Wind. Fire. Voice. The same Peter who denied three times now opens his mouth and heaven opens along with it. It is like this: when the Spirit comes, life shifts gears and the world notices.
What happened to the disciples
- They walked three and a half years with Jesus, saw miracles, but remained ordinary and flawed.
- In forty days, the resurrected Jesus gave undeniable proofs and promised the baptism in the Spirit.
- Filled with the Spirit, cowards became brave; doubters, convinced; ordinary people became revolutionary for the gospel.
To live acceleration, take your eyes off the time.
I insist on this because I know how tiring waiting can be. Proverbs says that hope deferred makes the heart sick. And yet, the Bible commands: delight yourself in the Lord. Joy in God before the result. Take the image of the defeated Christ off the wall of fear: Jesus is no longer on the cross. In Revelation 1, John sees Him in glory. It is this Lord who clothes us. Do not negotiate this with any calendar. It is not the date that activates; it is the Spirit.
To live a time of acceleration
- Stay in Jerusalem — obey and remain in the promise until you receive power from on high.
- Stop looking at the time and fix your eyes on Jesus, not on the circumstances.
- Keep a journal of God's works — remember and prophesy what He has already done.
I declare over you: there is a way for you. The seed that is inside you will bloom. In the next forty days, seek, obey, and note God's footprints. Stop measuring heaven with a human ruler. When the Spirit takes the house, fear exits through the back door and boldness occupies the room. No more living below the calling. Stay, look to Christ, and witness. It is time of acceleration — in the rhythm of the Spirit, not in the shortcut of anxiety.
